Day 1

And so it begins. Guys were really anxious and ready to go. Right from the get go guys were getting after it and really pushing themselves. They then hit a wall, not so much a brick wall but a cement wall that was thick as can be. They weren't ready for all the running and the intensity of practice. They will get better as time goes on.

It was nice to see guys flat out make some plays. We didn't have that last year. Though things are moving a little too quickly right (at least in their heads) our guys are making plays that we couldn't make last year. At some point things will slow down and we will be able to just play instead of thinking all the time. Hopefully, by the middle of next week we will have most of our drills down as well work at the intensity that we are looking for.

Still no ruling on the big transfer for us. It's been a long time coming and it's very annoying not to know where he stands. Hopefully we'll know by tomorrow.

First vomit victim of the year goes to Charlie Choiniere.
