So the NBA is not happy at all right, nor is Vitamin Water or Nike for that matter. This reminds me of the old Reebok Dan and Dave commercials from before the Barcelona Olympics (check out youtube for those beauties). Maybe they'll have Lil' Penny make a comeback to harass Kobe.
I'm actually proud of Mike Brown for actually running a play for the first time all series today. Too bad he is still terrible. Reggie Miller commented on what adjustments Mike Brown was making throughout tonight's game. The answer is none, zero, ziltch, nada. If you don't make adjustments in the playoffs you can't win, ask George Karl. At least now we'll see SVG and North Dakota's own Phil Jackson leading their teams to the Finals.
It should be an interesting matchup in the Finals. The Lakers actually have a couple of guys that can matchup with both Hedo and Lewis in Lamar Odom and Luke Walton, who did a pretty good job on making Melo's life difficult in the Western Finals. Pietrus will be able to "slow" down Kobe to a degree just like he did with Lebron. I think the biggest difference is that the Lakers actually run an offense which they can get shots from.
Lakers in 5
